A TC to follow a TC...

Its nice to see the core of TCG upholding the cause. Last week Mutant Potatoes could have attacked PJ but they would be no match for the 3 'Leguminators'. Yes we should do it again but there is some new places that we should also explore.
Infact I'm writing to report that this has been a very 'productive' TC weekend for me. Saturday was a session in Telok Gong with some friends and 11 dishes were ordered for a table of 7. Besides the abundance of seafood, todi & Guiness was also a prominent feature at dinner. I must stress though that the food at Telok Gong is no longer as good as it was. However the experience of driving there and hanging out in the middle of nowhere with good company and todi always makes the outing that much more pleasant. The crowd however has ignored thedrop in quality of the food and continues to patronise this seafood haven to the extent that HSBC stationed a mobile unit at the entrance of the Coconut Flower restaurant on a Saturday night to recruit cardholders! When an international bank posts 8 personnel to recruit exclusively at your restaurant on a Saturday night, that must be among the best form of flattery available.
Sunday night was another exciting TC outing with family members. There is this quaint little restaurant in Sri Kembangan which serves excellent steamed fish cutlets amongst other lip-smacking, finger licking dishes such as 'Kung-Po' snails, pork knuckles, fish head soup with bittergourd and 'Lak Tong' aka Killer Pepper soup. Perhaps this should be our next venture as I would highly recommend it.
Alas I'm complete with my weekend report for now. I shall be looking forward to having 'light' meals for the next few days and futsal before embarking on yet another adventure this coming Thursday.....
